# The Now!Imaging option is not enabled by default. Click the checkbox in the Slipstream Settings Image Quality area and set the Image Quality Slider to Extremely High. Now!Imaging will not work with the slider all the way to the left or all the way to the right.

This service is being provided at no extra charge and you may upgrade your dialup at any time.

To upgrade your account, you will need to dial into a SlipStream ready access number and download and install the SlipStream Accelerator Software. These can be done in any order, but acceleration will only occur when connected with the SlipStream software already installed and the Slipstream access number.

Step 1 - Download the software for your Operating System (Mac OS X or Windows 98 & later). Save the software to a location you can find later as you will need to double click on the installer to install the software.

Click on the link for Slipstream Software for:

Mac OS X (Version 4, no version 5 at this time)
(Internet Explorer users hold "Option" key down while clicking)

Windows (version 5.x with Now!Imaging)

Step 2 - Find your local SlipStream Access Number - Locate your number HERE. All Slipstream numbers are in the format XXX-1401. If you are already dialing a number XXX-1400, then you only need to change the 1400 to 1401. Important - All Clients are responsible for selecting a number that is toll free from their location. If you are unsure if a number is toll-free to your location, call the Operator by dialing "0" and ask for a rate check. You will need to give your phone number and the access number to the Operator.

Step 3 - Change your Access Number - Below are quick methods for changing your access number for different Operating Systems.

To switch the Access Number on Windows 95, 98, or Millenium.
- Double click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Double click on the Dialup Networking folder.
- Use the right mouse button and click on the dialup connection you want to change. left click on properties.
- Change the phone number to the SlipStream Access number. Click OK
- Close the open windows and access normally.

To switch the Access Number on Windows 2000.
- Click on the Start Menu Icon.
- Click on Settings and then Control Panel.
- Double click on Network and Dialup Connections.
- Use the right mouse button and click on the dialup connection you want to change. left click on properties.
- Change the phone number to the SlipStream Access number. Click OK
- Close the open windows and access normally.

To switch the Access Number on Windows XP.
- Click the start menu Icon
- Click on Connect To and then Show all connections
- Use the right mouse button and click on the dialup connection you want to change. click on properties.
- Write down the current phone number, change the phone number to the SlipStream Access number. Click OK
- Close the open windows and access normally.

To switch the Access Number on Mac OS X.
Click on the Apple menu icon in the upper left of the monitor.
Click on the System Preferences
Click on Network.
Choose configure on the modem.
- Erase the dns server information.
- (Mac OS X 10.1 & 10.2) Click on the PPP tab.- Change the telephone number to the SlipStream Access number.
- (Mac OS X 10.3 & 10.4) Change the telephone number to the SlipStream Access number.
- Close the open windows, save the changes and access normally.
